National News annoys me. Because of the way things are presented, most Americans can say whats going on whats going on with Brittany these days, but most don't have a clue about Christian oppression in Darfur.
Thats why I like the interwebs for my news. I can at least get a somewhat broader view of whats going on.

That's an interesting way of looking at it. I have never really looked at porn so I don't know.

One of my favorite online publications is NewsOfTheWeird.com. It's getting to the point where the weird news is almost normal news.

I remember reading somewhere (I wish I could site my source) that all news is like pornography and I agree.

One definition of porn is the depiction of acts in a sensational manner so as to arouse a quick intense emotional reaction. So these news sites give us all the obscene and bizarre behavior to keep us interested and tuned in, but none of it has any real bearing on our day to day lives.

Of those stories, the only one that really affects me is the 95 shut down in Philly, everything else is just porn.
