Why I don't like the label Anarchist or Libertarian and why I feel connected with it...

They both have too many unpleasant historical associations that can't simply be written off in the same manner as the tragic tendency in "Old Europe" to associate Anabaptists with the Munster extremists.

Of course, the same can be said for recent history of many so-called "evangelicals", but when one looks at the general history of the term as used in the 19th ctry, it makes me want to salvage it.

I'd rather call myself a communitarian or a christarchist.

Nemesis!? I suppose that's true enough. But if you upgraded it to "Arch-Nemesis" it would sound cooler. But then the question would be: "Who is the hero and who is the villain?"

I have read a little bit about the approach you mention and I remember Chomsky mentioning this type of approach on a local or state level where it has a reasonable chance of making some difference. It is an interesting thought to consider disrupting an election on a state level so as to influence the process and actually give votes voices to a certain degree. I guess as long as we are stuck with paternalistic domination in the form of the Electoral College is a feasible alternative to nonparticipation.
