Any luck on the job front? I have a friend who recently got a youth ministry job after a whole year of unemployment. That's such a tough place to be.

Living in the community though I've found that I witness the gospel on the street, and many times have to evangelize to the church. Jesus lives in the rough part of this city, and time and time again I met him here!

At 5:00pm on October 10, 2008, somasoul said…: Baltimore is kind of a funky place. Some parts are really bad. But then you go a block or two and you're in this really nice sort of area. My neighborhood, Hamilton, is pretty good north and south but venture East or West just a little bit and.........uh, it's not so hot. Pigtown is a place I don't venture to often but it's one of the more blue collar parts of town. It certainly isn't "nice" but it's not really bad either.

What church is it, if I can ask?

Pigstown is known for having alot of Baltimore's poor white population. Certain areas look like the westside, just instead of black guys on the block you'll see white guys.
